The Bad Boy is Back! Ortiz Returns to the UFC
Posted on July 31st, 2009 at 3:10 pm by
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC – It was said that the bad blood between UFC President Dana White and former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz ran so deep that reconciliation wasn’t even a remote possibility. But after a twitter exchange between the two surfaced recently, fans began speculating that a return to the Octagon wouldn’t be too far off for ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.’ On Friday, White made it official, announcing Ortiz’ re-signing with the UFC during a media teleconference.

Warning Dont Talk to Shannon Gugerty when Hes Working
Posted on July 4th, 2009 at 12:42 am by
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC – “Come on Shannon.”The first time Shannon Gugerty heard Spencer Fisher talking to him, he almost couldn’t believe it. There was no bad blood between the two lightweights before their UFC 90 bout in Illinois last October, so there wouldn’t have been any reason for the two not to talk, but it was 30 seconds into their fight that Fisher decided to start up a conversation after Gugerty took him to the mat.

Yet despite how the media has portrayed him since he appeared on and won the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter series, Sanchez comes off more normal than some might expect in a one-on-one conversation.
